Adultery and Pornography and the road back!
              by Crystal Clear

My personal experience left me horrified, emotionally crippled and spiritually crushed when I found pornography on my computer after he left me and I learned about his adulterous affair and their marriage and divorce. He is now married again. Families and lives destroyed. I know how devastating it is. There is help. God tells us to be very careful what we set before our eyes because the eyes are the window to the soul. All it takes for the enemy to begin to destroy is a crack. He will blow that crack wide open into a full blown spiritual battle in your heart and in your home.

It begins with curiosity and the seed is set in the heart to flourish. It can begin too in chat rooms, it can begin in a work environment. I recall the words of constant denial and it being said it was all my imagination, oh, that stuff comes in all the time and I just ignore it or delete it. It was difficult to truly have to recognize the truth. He was blinded by his own deceit and began believing his own lies. He didn't want to be found out. He wasn't finished destroying yet. That is how hard and fierce the enemy will work. It isn't just your life that is going to be harmed. You will and it does involve many, many people in your sin. The destruction doesn't only involve the person doing wrong. It affects and sets circumstances in motion that will affect know only you but others for the rest of your life and theirs. Once it begins the only way to stop it is through our Lord Jesus Christ. No, not that simple? This is going on in our Churches as well as the world because the enemy of God is a roaring lion and wants to destroy you, your life, your testimony, your family, your character and your spirit. Crush you so you are walking, talking, living a lie, crippled having no effect for the Kingdom and your word. One scripture is solid regarding this. I Corinthians 10: 12-13. "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." The key is praying and asking to not be deceived. "I don't believe God would want us in a marriage we are miserable in." Really...what do you do to make it miserable? Do you truly believe God is a God that tells you to cut and run from the responsibility or pain you bestowed while in that marriage? Even if you get out of the marriage and say you repent. There is a problem. If you have repented and refuse to honor your obligations of the damage you created in your path of sin you will only sustain for a season. God will not be mocked.

The Spirit Of Jezebel
What a legacy in history she left and still with us today!

You will be buying a whole new set of problems and if you don't fix the ones you left you just keep stacking the odds against yourself. You may even feel you did the right thing. You have no idea what destruction you left behind that isn't finished. You don't look back because you know there is accountability. All of this because you want you own way. You fell flat on your face in sin. Is that not a clue that all that you will see is great and wonderful because you have been blinded by the "Angel of Light." Women...you are responsible. You may think I am talking to just men but let me tell you something. It's your bodies out there over the Internet, in the magazines or in the pews or at the work place. It's your actions, attitude and your self pride that is in the crosshairs promoting this too. Statistically women are just as guilty as men. Women are just as likely to commit adultery as men. Well men have to have a place don't they? Men provide the tools and you provide the place. Harsh...yes it is but true. I see women all the time on the prowl. The business of adultery comes from many sources and it is a money maker. Always has been. Can you be the woman of Proverbs 31? Yes you can but you have got to rid yourself and men as well of the spirit of Jezebel. It wrecks destruction and havoc everywhere it goes.

I have listened to more explanations of justifying adultery to choke a horse. I know for soothing relief you would want to hear the cushy side of all the glorious promises and scriptures to appease the guilt in you but I can't. You are wrong, you've done wrong and your going to do wrong unless you do it all right. Sin isn't called sin anymore. We glaze it over so the dough will go down easier. It is sweeter that way. God has not nor will not change. You may proceed and even appear successful and pull it off for a long time. But one day if you don't make you truly right God will deal with it. God said if you want it He would provide a way out. Sometimes our flesh just wants to flirt with it because it builds ego, our self esteem to think someone is attracted to us and as it builds and puffs us up. It is a lie from hell. Remember too God's words warning us to be very careful of vain flattery? When we face sudden destruction as result of our actions do we take the blame? No! We will attempt to push the cause off to someone else. The flesh will perpetrate lies to justify our actions. The first step is to take responsibility for our actions, remove the temptations every way.  Become a Warrior and girt up with the shield God gave you as a Christian. If you are not a Christian you have little defense. Repent and turn from your ways. Seek council with true Godly people you trust. Don't let anyone pacify you with comforting words. This is very serious and very dangerous because it will destroy you. And satan is cunning enough to keep you in that mental lie. Remember what happened in the garden. By one man's sin we have all suffered and the greatest sufferer is Jesus. You know what He had to endure to redeem you. How can we neglect so great a salvation? But we do! Clean it up and if you can't do it alone. Get help! You have to desire it with your heart and soul or it will not last. You will be like the man in the Bible that only turned over a new leaf once in awhile. The true seed of salvation will and does not take root in unfertile ground. Don't leave those that love you in your wake of destruction of your sins. It is harsh for them to live. But the promise of God is He will restore your wrong unto those you harm. Do you really want God to have to intervene and clean up after you? He does and He will. The scripture says regarding this Hebrews 10:31 "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Seek help and repent. Begin to undo the harm and the destructive path. Ask Jesus to help you to mend your destruction. Please, if He has to do it for you the clean up on your end will begin to add up a bill you can't pay here or at death.
